Big Mountain Bar is right in the heart of Chamonix Mont-Blanc. We opened in March 2019 and quickly became the place to meet friends after a day in the mountains. We offer 12 taps of craft beer, a mix of our own Big Mountain beers and guest beers from some of Europe’s best craft breweries.
As well as delicious drinks we have home-made artisan pizza with locally sourced ingredients. So whether you’re hungry or thirsty after a day on the mountain, we’ve got you covered.
With indoor seating for around 50 people and an outdoor terrace of the same size, our bar is small enough to feel cosy, but spacious enough to accommodate a large group.
If you’re feeling a little hungry, we have freshly made in-house pizzas as well as mixed plates of charcuterie and local cheeses with fresh local bread and nachos with our own special jalapeno and beer sauce.
It isn’t only beer on the drinks menu. We have a full range of spirits and mixers, as well as a carefully curated wine list.
We have the full range of Big Mountain bottled beers to take out and 4-can packs of IPA and Mountain lager. We also stock a range of merch - from tees to caps.
We offer a growler filling system for each of our 12 draft beers. This is a specialist CO2 purging system, meaning your reusable growler bottle will hold your beer fresh and stable for around 4 weeks. Then just wash the bottle, bring it back, and fill it up again - zero waste beer!
